Not common in Minnesota, I was able to get a few pictures over the noon hour today down in the MN River Valley. The lighting conditions were bad, but thats another story. Black legged kittiwake.JPG

The story is that these are usually seen in the Arctic region and will travel south, generally along the east and west coasts. It was an oddity I am told that one showed up here. shocked.gif
