Hauling Permanent House Advice

Ok guys, I need some advice...

I built an 8' x 12' permanent house that I estimate weighs 1500 lbs...

I need to haul it approx. 240 miles. I think I have two options - One= rent a 4 place snowmobile trailer. Which makes the getting the house on and off a little interesting. Or Two= rent a scissors-style pontoon trailer, which means the off and on are better, but the hauling part makes me a little nervous??

Anyone done this before and/or anyone have any better ideas??

Thanks for any advice you can offer!!

The scisors trailer is a good idea, but I am assuming the house is at least 7 feet tall. With the narrow width of the wheels on those type of trailers, I think it would tip over and then you would be SOL! If its 8 foot, you need to find a trailer that has the wheels under the trailer as 8' is about the legal width for the road. I think the 4 place trailer is a better option, or a big flatbed with a winch.
