Vexilar

Has anyone been able to use 2 vexilars side by side and had them both work? I have tried turning the IR off on one, which helps one guy but the other is still screwed up...

Am I doing this wrong or is this not possible?

I am talking about the FL-8 model.

Thanks for any help!

You should both be able to tune each other out, if they both have the IR feature. Monkey around with both units at once and cycle through the IR settings. You should't have a problem with two Vex's, add a third flasher and all bets are out the window. cool.gif

I've fished side by side with a FL8 and a FL18 on lots of occasions. If the bottom is fairly flat, you can usually get them to play well with each other with a couple taps on the IR button. If this does not work, try moving one of the transducers up or down, and then hitting the IR again.

If you are over steep drops, I have found it is really tough to get them to work well. There is a lot signal reflection coming off the breaklines and it is almost impossible to tune out the monkey races in that scenario.
