Marcum high speed transducer

I have a Marcum LX ice system that I would like to use for summer open water use.
Due to the short transducer cable I need to purchase the high speed option cable. I believe it is 20 degrees. Has anyone tried this and if so how did it work out? Thanks for any help.

I have the hi speed 'ducer on my lx 1. I've only used it once so far but it seems to work OK. I can't get it to work at hi speed but thats probibly an angle or highth problem that I need to work out.
