Hey guys, this is a shot in the dark but i'll try. I'm driving up from Dallas, TX to meet my best friend and do some tip uppin somewhere for northerns. Ideally, we'd like to fish Minneapolis or south. The more driving we do, obviously the less fishing we get in as we only have a day and a half. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not wanting a honey hole but hope to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks guys.

I'll bump this back up to the top for you. I am not as familiar with the southern part of the state and hopefully someone can help you. I would think Prior Lake would be a good bet. There are probably some small lakes down there that are pretty good as well. If your willing to go a little further north of the cities, Big Marine has a ton of fish, but they tend to be small.
