Dan:

Took the snow machines up to Jefferson. Drilled one test hole about five feet from shore and there was 6"...drilled a second and it was 2" thick. Got back on the sleds and decided to give it another week to get consistent.

  This northern boy needs a little help with this one. Dried up kill hole in the duck timber? Quicksand that all the deer fell into? Cool lighting in a forest that’s so different from ours? I’ve never been in the AR woods before but you’ve arrived by the looks of it. Good luck.
