nate18
I was wondering if anyone out there can give me some feedback on whether or not I should travel from Chicago to St. Paul this weekend for the fishing show. Are there items there that may not exist anywhere else? I am not sure that it would be worth driving the 6 hours one way. Thanks much in advance for your responses. -nate
Duffman
Save yourself some gas money and possible travel headaches. There will be nothing there that you couldn't find online anyways. I've got nothing against the Ice Show, but it seems that in the last few years, it hasn't been anything special. The bigger players in the icefishing field have taken over the event, sort of sqeezing out the little guys and their hand made items. Yes, you might get some deals late Sunday, but that's about the only advantage I see. I plan on icefishing during the ice show, I always thought it was a dumb time of the year to hold the show. Would you hold a deer show on the deer opener, or a fishing show on the fishing opener???
