MOJO or LUCKY DUCK!

Recommended Posts

I was wondering... if the more Mojo or Lucky Duck (wind aided spinner) decoys you have, the better or more consistent ducks will come into your decoys? I only have 1 and it seems to work fine. However, if I had 2,3, or 4 of them in my spread would it help or do you think it would scare them away? I am looking to get the attention of the ducks way up in the sky, and come busting down, if possible. Has anyone worked with this? What do you think is a good ratio? 1 per dozen or 2 doz.??? I was planning on getting my hunting buddies one for X-Mas and picking up a couple for myself if they go on sale here. (See now that is smart x-mas shopping. Buying something for your hunting buddies that you will be using as well and benefit from) HA HA

if you are field hunting the more the better i hunt over 5 in the field for mallards, however the only draw back is that with that many out the geese seem to flare later in the year when most field mallard hunting takes place. Over water i havent really noticed much difference between 1 and 5. If you do pick up a few the best suggestion i can give you is to add wire and run them from a battery at your side or in your blind so you can simply unhook the battery at your side when you see geese coming. i would suggest a remote but that can get you in trouble in minnesota, some game wardens fine you others done its a strange deal. If you are going to get some and you have a gander mountain in your area i would buy them before 12-1-05 because all decoys are 40% off rght now. that makes mojos $75 instead of $125 great deal. if you are buying Mojos i would also advise against mojo juniors if you ever hunt windy areas the junior motor simply isnt strog enough of to fight the wind.
