anyone have any hangfires or misfires due to the rain this weekend? Any bucks of a lifetime missed because of the moisture? I for one, did not have any trouble from my couch watching the Vikings! Anyone have any luck?

I spent the time, all weekend in the cold and rain/snow, but no luck. Just knowing that it could happen any time keeps me out there. Passed on 3 small bucks and 2 fawns. wating for a mature doe or "big John" to come along so I can complete the "trifecta". I got one with the bow, one with the rifle and my goal is to get one with all three weapons in the same year. I'll be back next weekend.

I'm heading to the stand this coming weekend with my muzzleloader. I'm going to try to get one full day hunting, and then maybe a morning or afternoon. My wife told me that she doesn't allow "Do Overs" but I'm managing to slip in a little muzzleloader hunting when were up north to see my dad.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the deer do in the late season where we normally hunt. Should be fun to see whats happening. Hopefully, a little snow on the ground so I can tell if their moving through the area I'm sitting in. I have a lot of stands to choose from so I can move if I don't see any tracks around the stand I'm planning on sitting in.
