St. Peter Area

I go to school at Gustavus and we have had an incredible week as far as mallards go over fields. I was ust wondering if others in the area are having the same success. If so are the Geese being stubborn for you too?

I've been out on one hunt in the St. Peter area this week in the morning. Me and my buddy limited out on mallards and had plenty working the decoys after we had our limit. There are definately enough birds around the area, and there will probably be more with this cold weather coming.

Not that many geese to speak of though, at least in our field.

went out this morning and saw more mallards then i have all season. lots of birds. shot the only mallard that came into the dekes. Picking up i had geese every where typical though they fly when i am packing up. Hope all enjoy their last mallard shoots of the year.

finished the limit of mallards and brought a friend out to shoot his first mallards. It was a blast. Time to really concentrate on the honks. Good luck all
