Is Ice Pro line thats 8lb test 1lb dia. good to use on my panfish rod? or should i stay w/ mono? thanks Chad

Should work if the fish aren't too spooky. If you start to notice fish shying away from the line add a section of mono on the end. I do this with the kids so they can feel the bites easier and they seem to do good with it.
