outlander noise

I bought a 05 Outlander 400 this summer, and it seems to have a what I would call a grinding noise towards the back,is this normal. Have not had a chance to check it out yet. I was just wondering if anybody else hears this noise?

The V.P. of our ATV club just bought one of those big Bommy 800cc. monsters and has the same thing going on. His dealer said it was normal but I believe he had him take a look anyway. It still make a funky kinda muffled clicking noise.
