uphill
On 11/06/05 I was leaving Winona Hwy. 61 north pulled over to get a dog of the road that was dodging traffic. The dog had no tags so I loaded it up and asked the houses in the area the dog did not belong to any of them nor did they no anyone who owned a chocolate lab in the area. I did not want to bring the dog to the pound for the fear of what might happen to it. So if anyone out there knows anyone that lost a lab in that area. Please contact me with the sex of the dog and the type of collar it was wearing and we can arrange to get your dog back. Email me at [email protected] if you lost your dog. Thanks Phil
Fish'n guy
Nice of you to save the dog. I'm sre if you weren't there things could have gotten bad!!! Its a good thing that there are people like you out there who actually care enough to take the dog in instead of just dropping it off at the pound. Hope somebody comes forward!!!! gorrilla
I'm just wondering if you at least called the pound and sheriff's department because that's where I'd look if my pooch went AWOL...
uphill
Yes I called the sheriff yesterday he hadn't heard anything, he gave me the number to the pound I couldn't get ahold of anyone yesterday but today I called and no one has contacted them but they also have me info so if someone does call they can get in touch with me. thanks
hobbydog
There is a good chance the dog has a micro chip. They can check at the pound or at any vet clinic. It will have owner info.
billbixby
Wow, that was incredibly nice of you. My wife and I were on our way back from church when we saw that dog running on the hwy just north of Lyle's Interiors. I made the comment to her that I thought there was a shock collar on there, so I figured the owner had to be close by. I have to believe someone might have been staying at the Motel across from Kwik Trip. You might try there. Thanks for being a good citizen. My kids wanted to stop and take it home. uphill
This is the story My brother-in-law took the dog to his house being that I live in the city and I all ready have 2 dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard and I did not want the dog to run away. Anyways on Monday my brother in law called the pound gave them my contact info. I called the the shock coller company to see if they could search by the serial number and as they where doing that I got a phone call from my brother in law and he said that the owner had just called him. The owner said that he was very happy that we did not bring the dog to the pound so we brought the dog to the airport and met the owners wife or girlfriend I can't remeber she was coming back from a trip with her mother so now Mocha is back home.
