Getting around on the ice

Right now i have no atv or sled of my own to pull my shack with but its always a blast reading posts about everyone's setups all decked out for ice fishing. The setup I hear about the most is the atv's, but i never hear about utility atv's like rangers etc because they have the cargo capacities. With a set of tracks on one of those i think it would be the cats meow.

To finish up i guess i am asking how many of you use atv's like rangers ect. Also do you think gators would work well with the big balloon tires? pics would be great grin.gif

Utility vehicles cannot be on designated ATV trails, heavier/larger to haul and, are more expensive. Those may be the reasons you don't see more of them out. A utility vehicle with a set of tracks is about $13,000 shocked.gif

Gators, as in John Deere Gators? Or, do you mean Argo's? Neither machine is good in deeper snow. If the Argo has tracks, then, it's good to go.
