Rip_Some_Lip
I am looking to buy a pressure cooker to start canning venison. If anyone has any experience with this, I have a couple of questions. How big of a cooker do I need? I see they have anywhere from 4 quart to 28 quart cookers. Also, what else should influence my choice? If anyone has any good recipies, please feel free to post them here. Thanks in advance.
RussDaBuss
I too would like to learn more of this topic. In the deer section of the forum is some info for you but this is a good place to put it and get everyones ideas. I have an old pressure cooker that holds I believe 6 Pints/Quarts. I will be using this. Just need some good ideas and recipes. Plan on using my bigger scraps to can!!

widetrack
I bought a new 28qt presto for deer season this year. I'm going to can everything but the back straps. It says I can can 20 pints per batch. (nice!)The instruction manual is pretty straight forward for canning meat. This will be my first experiance canning, so I'll post the details after the harvest.
