BIG ISLAND DUDE
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Vikings released punt returner Keenan Howry and signed linebacker Heath Farwell off the practice squad on Saturday. Howry is a third-year pro out of Oregon. He played in four games this season, returning 12 punts for 78 yards, an average of 6.5 yards. Farwell is an undrafted rookie out of San Diego State. He impressed the team in the preseason with his tireless work ethic, and coach Mike Tice has always had an affinity for rookie free agents. Tice went undrafted himself before catching on with Seattle to start a 14-year playing career ------- Finally the peice to the puzzle we need to win it all.
