Buck Activity

My dad just called me tonight from Burton (near Flint) to tell me that he had a very nice wide, heavy beamed six pointer in his back yard perpetuating his genetic code. Have you folks seen any similar activity so far this year? I’ve never personally witnessed this specific activity so early here in southern MI. What I normally see is bucks chasing does with little or no response from the does. I sure hope that there’s no strange cosmic change that’s taken place this year to speed up the rut. I haven’t even had the horns out yet…Tell me what you’re seeing, but let’s keep it “G” rated ok.
