Hey Buzz, How are those pitching stats looking now?

Hey Buzz,

Just thought I would get your comments and thoughts on the pitching performances of the last two games by Buehrle and "Judy" Garland. I know that they could not carry the athletic supporter of Mr. YO-Han but I thought I would just ask like Toby Keith sang, "How do you like me now?". Let's see if I have some of the stats correct: Two complete games, 18 innings pitched, an average of 1 hit every other inning given up, an average of 1.5 runs per game. Did I leave anything out, maybe they should have had 20 strikeouts each like Yo-Han would have...IF HE WAS IN THE PLAYOFFS!

Don't go getting crazy on me, Buzzy, I'm just funnin you a little and I fully expect a smart aleck answer back. So think hard and fire away...How do you like me now! Sing it Toby!!!

You left out Contreras, he pitched very well as well. They look goiod, you should be excited. Oh wait you are!

I didn't want to rub it in by throwing in Contreras's stats but...NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT, just kidding. I know that you are allowing me my crowing time and I appreciate it. What do you think, will I see my boys play again in the Windy or will they wrap it up in La La Land?

Can you believe that Garland gave up one walk and that was to the first batter? Amazing stuff for a rusty pitcher on 13 days rest. Ozzie looks like the Wizzard of Ozz, he left him in to pitch the 9th but he was on the top step of the dugout with Big Bad Bobby waiting in the wings with his 100 mph nasty cheese waiting. Tommorrow will be tough, that pitcher shut us down earlier in the year, but I think Freddie will be "Cocked, Locked and ready to Rock" as Deadly Teddly, Mr. Nugent says.

I just got from fishing this morning on Lake Minnetonka and it was a great day scenery wise, but the fishing was week! I think the Sox look like a team destined for the WS, but they still have to play the games.

Not boys being boys!!! EMBARRASMENT!! Totally undisciplined and unaccepatable!! I hate to say it but I am bordering on giving up on the Vikes for good, I have two young kids and seeing these overpaid over testosterone filled home boys (white boys included) act like (Contact US Regarding This Word) who are above society's rules... no thanks, not interested in supporting that shi$! I actually feel bad for our new owner Ziggy Wilf (who I am scheduled to mee at halftime of next saturdays Vikes/pack tilt). It's just not fun and frankly I'm embarrased by these "ADULTS" behavior.

P.S. Good game by the Sox tonight, you've gotta taste blood now!!

I'm glad you said that, I was being kind and didn't want to rile the Vikings fans but they should be riled. I have four grand kids all under 5 and I don't know how I would explain that to them if they were a few years older. My two grand daughters only know one thing, they say, "Go White Sox and Cubs Stink!" I taught them the last part and it is a hoot to hear them at parties with Cub fans.

Anyway, glad to know that you and I are on the same "moral page", but I kinda thought so before in our discussions.

Keep fishin that Lake Minnetonka and maybe we can keep the Vikings on the football field. Agreed? Windy

I can't believe that there is a football team that can make my Bears look so good. No guts, no discipline, no scoring. I guess that the Vikings really cleaned up their image by getting rid of Randy Moss, huh? I think the Viking fans will be jumping off their ship faster than passangers on the Titanic and I can't blame them if they do. Thanks for getting our hopes up this week, now all the Bears faithful will think we actually have a chance this year, but in the Central, we just might!
