Computer Hook-Up with ifinder

Can you hook-up an ifinder to a laptop and use the computer monitor as a display? I haven't found a section in the ifinder H2O owner's manual that addresses this. My older Magellan Sportrack could be plugged into a USB port and used through the Map Send topo software to display location live. I thought this would really be cool with the navionics software and the ifinder, basically giving a 15" LCD color display. Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't believe so...I haven't done that with my i-Finder. You need to use the SD or MMC cards to transfer the data from one interface to the other, and you would need to have the software on the computer to support the map graphics.

But...I haven't ever tried a direct interface, either...so it may be possible...
