Grouse around the Aitkin Area?????

Used to have some mucho primo land to hunt grouse on, i mean the best i have ever seen, then part of the family sold the land underneathe our noses and we cannot access it anymore, talk about [PoorWordUsage]ing me off, anyways any reports of good grouse numbers around the aitkin area??

Iv been goin to aitken every other week since it opend and havent got one grouse. Its brutal. I live on farm island though. WHere is your old place

farm island guy where do you hunt in aitkin? I hunt between boot lake and rat lake north of big sandy bar. Haven't been up to my spots yet this year but, I'd like to hear what areas you are hunting! I've always done moderate in these areas in low years, however I'm interested to see if you hunt around here? Let me know.

Was up around Aitkin last weekend, saw 9 and got 3 in 2 days of hunting, should have had 5... I was on private land though, and this stuff is as primo as it gets...
