Just wondering what people are paying to have exclusive hunting rights (waterfowl, deer, and small game) on a given piece of property? X$ per acre or flat rate for the spot.

Any info will help me make a decision.

I'm gonna toss a figure out there, not sure how accurate it is - say $10 per acre per year. So $800 a year for 80 acres.

I'm wondering the same thing. Leasing isn't really a big thing in the north half of the state as far as I can tell. I think there must be too much public ground. I'm working on leasing an 80 right now that borders the family farm(440 acres)mainly just to keep a good buffer. I don't think I'll end up paying more than $5/acre, but I may be in for a rude awakening I'll post the details as soon as it firms up.
