Dual Beam transducers. Do they work?

Just wondering how many people are fishing with the dual beam transducers and how well do they work. I'm debating whether or not to buy one.

I really like the Dual-Beam option. In deep water, say 30 feet you can really zero in on whats going on beneath you. You need less power to run the unit plus you can focus in on individual fish inside the cone. Also the narrowed cone reduces the "false bottom" area associated with breaklines and subtle changes in the bottom in deep water.
