A friend of mine said he saw a survey by the DNR limiting the length of a hardside icehouse to 14' unless you are a resort owner. I check the DNR web site but could not find anything on this. Has any one herd anything on this?

I haven't heard anything and doubt that would pass at all. There would be many, many angry shack owners.

I do know that North Dakota has restrictions on the size of permanent shacks. You Crookston guys are so close to NoDak, maybe there was some confusion.
