I know this has probably been discussed here many times. I was wondering what I should do with my boat batteries for the winter. I have been able to store them in a heated shop in the past, but I can't this year. Do I need to take them inside a heated area or can I just try to keep them charged during the winter.

I just fully charge mine at the end of the season and leave them in the garage, trickle charging them every few weeks during the winter. Never had any problems. As long as they are fully charged, they shouldn't freeze.
