I was wondering what you can get for Coyote furs. Where does a guy bring them to get paid for them? I shot one last year and gave it to my taxidermist but this year I want to get a hat made from one for ice fishing. After that I would like to get some cash for them if possible rather then leaving them lie. How long does it take to skin one and what do the fur buyers expect from it.

Cumberlands near Medford/Owatonna would buy them from you. They won't want them if you shoot them with a big rifle or slug. The holes have to be pretty small. Skinned out maybe $15 to 20.

Thanks for the info. Would you happen to have a number? If not I will look it up. I plan on using my .223 so it is minimal I hope.
