reef raider
I will be fishing Bowstring next week. Is there a well defined fall pattern on this lake. Do the fish move off of the humps toward the river inlet in the fall? Is there any concentrations on points or weedlines? I looked at a DNR map and it looks like a bowl. I see one reef on the south center of the lake. I am not sure if the DNR has this reef marked with any accuracy. I guess I will start by dragging shad raps until I see fish on the graph. Any tips would be welcome. If any one has reefs marked I would like to get coordinates.
Northlander
I fished the south side of the lake. Drive straight out the south landing until you find the 1st drp. I think it was from 5' to about 25' of water. We jigged and rigged that area and caught a lot of nice eyes, perch, crappie and northern. Also caught a lot of nice fish right in the weeds on the s.w. side of the lake. Biggest eye was 25.5" Have shiners and a lot of them. We went threw 4 doz between 2 guys in half a day.
