Well looks like after Chicago's recent mini surge they will most likely wrap up the division. Hopefully Cleveland can pull out the wild card. It would be nice to see two teams from the Central in. Sounds like from what I'm hearing Contreras would be starting game 1 of the playoffs for them. Interesting that the two hot pitchers of the fist half Buerhle and Garland have slumped big time in the second half and their true ace has emerged. Seeing that Contreras has been there before with the Yanks, it doesn't surprise me to see he's won 8 straight starts now. Hopefully for Sox fans the rest of the staff will decide to show up.

Cleveland seems to play well against the Central and crappy against everyone else. They have seemed to have that trend here in the second half. Beat bad teams, lose against the better ones. Still if they remain 3 out going into the Sox series they will need to sweep. Could happen. Should be a interesting the last few days here for the AL East & Central.
