Great starting pitching and lack of clutch hitting. I've been following the game a bit on MLB.com while I'm working out and it seems like Santana pitched another gem. From what I saw the Twins had two scoring opportunities. First and second no one out. Try and bunt the guys over only to force the guy out at third and then next batter double play. Then later I believe man on third 1 out and can't get the runner in. Seems to be the pattern for them this year. Hopefully they will end up pulling this one out in extra innings. McCarthy pitched well again it looks like. He should be pretty good for them next year, especially if they lose Garland to free agency.
