Which Echo Call?

Looking to either buy the Echo Timber double reed poly, or the Echo Timber double reed wood/poly insert. Anyone have any advice as to which one sounds better?

I would choose the wood/ poly insert. It both looks and sounds better. This call could be used for hunting and mabey some compititions. if you wanted to boost up the money, but be worth the price, the new XLT is a great hunting call. It is very raspy with just the right amount of volume. If you ever wanted to get into compititons, the Echo Boss is a a great call that produses ringing hail calls and can chage piches very easy for less mistakes. Hope i helped u out.

Both of those calls will sound about the same, one just looks nicer. Double reeds are great meat calls, but don't have lots of range.
