pro v livewell

Question

Does anyony know?On my back well it has two holes.

one is for the drain and the other has a screen on it

my ?is I have the plug in one and when I fill the well up water goes down. Through the side hole but when I go to the back of the boat.My auto bilge comes on.Do i have to plug both holes or is it posible I have the wrong one pluged?this does not happen on the front well witch drains in to the boatwhen empting .thanks for the help

JimBo, the second hole with the screen over it is for your recirculating pump. This one should not be plugged. Both livewells should overflow out the side discharge holes on the side of the boat, and both livewells should drain out the back discharge hole located on the bottom of the transom. Some of the newer boats actually drain the front livewell out through a 1" hole in the bottom of the hull. If running your livewell causes water to leak into the boat and turn on your auto bilge pump, then there is probably a leaking or cracked fitting or hose somewhere in the system. You need to make sure that the black directional valves in the boat are set to FILL, DRAIN, or RECIRCULATE depending on what operation you are doing. Greg
