gvg_uwec
I finally got to my storage shed and dug out my ice gear and have started preparing the " need to replace before the season" list. I think i did ok this year only needing to replace auger blades on the power and hand auger(forgot to grease after season and now are all rusty) and some new trebles on my spoons. I got lucky and had no mice holes to speak of so far. How lucky or unlucky has everyone else been this summer?
federline
We'll, near the end of last season while out, my Strikemaster Mag 3000 tipped over and one of the two tabs on the gas tank mount broke. Gotta do something about that, prolly jury-rig it, unless Strikemaster still makes tanks for it. Also need new blade. The cover on my portable ripped a little last year, so I duct taped it to get through the season, but I'm going to patch it this year with fabric. Also, need a new window on one side, it cracked in 25 below zero. This year I get a heater that doesn't take up as much room as a sunflower does on a 20lb tank. All in all, pretty painless. WalleyeStriker
I brought all my rods and reels back up to college last week(NDSU) and I found that my little brother must have been playing with them.. So now I have to put new line on (which I find myself doing every year) and I charged the Vex before I headed back up. But before I did I slept my lastnight in the Clam 6800 for good memories! But overall, I just need some new jigs which Gander Mountain will be calling my name to restock up on!
