That's a beauty for sure Short!..last time I hooked into a rainbow that size ,was at the La Rue Pit in Nashwauk...(couple years ago)....seemed like every rainbow i caught that day "jumped" about 3 or 4 times out of the water trying to throw the hook....again,nice lookin rainbow....jonny

this one was a pit fish too and it jumped 3 times and about 4 to 5 feet out of the water it was pretty awesome!! biggest I have seen out of one of the pits.

Its alot harder to catch those in summer thats for sure

sledneck hey why dont you post some of the pictures of 4+ pound trout you caught out of that pit in the winter!! It would be cool to see them!!
