Anything biting in NE SD? I heard Waubay has picked up.

I just got off the phone with my grandpa and he was out at Bitter on Monday. Fished from 8-3 and caught 10 walleye over 16" (which is the minimum limit there) and several smaller ones. He also caught 1 12" perch.

He fishes the weed beds edges in 5-10 FOW with spinners behind bottom bouncers and a half crawler. From the public boat ramp head straight West across the lake and look for weeds. Might venture towards the south a bit also.

I just caught wind of a bite that is going on in the main basin of Bitter. I'm assuming it is leadcore and plugs.

Nothing on Oahe as of recently. Heard the dog days of summer were in effect a few weeks ago at New Everest & Akaska.
