Shooting hours

I was looking through the hunting handbook and for early goose it said shooting hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise to sunset each day. A couple pages later it said on opener shooting hours don't start until 9:00. Is the 9:00 rule just for regular season or for early season too?

that applies to the first day of waterfowl season only. october 3rd

You better look at your calendar again, Duck opener is Oct.1st not the 3rd
