Where do they go?

On my local creek, Otter Creek in carlton, the weeds are in full bloom, this happens every year, and It seems like all the trout have dissapeared. Catching alot of chubs also, theres a good population of brookies with a few browns. I know there in there cause I catch 8 a day in the spring, All the deep pools and some of the shallow pools are weed choked, the shallow riffles are the only pieces of water without weeds. If anyone has been experiencing the same thing, info on where the trout go would be greatly appreciated.

The bike trail bridge? do you use fly or spinning gear?

the bike trail bridge and then i walk up stream from there i usually use spinners i haven't fished otter at all this year but thats where i caught fish lastyear
