Boat Blind HELP

Hey guys I'm trying to build a scissor-style fastgrass blind for my Lund S-16. I've already got the fastgrass and lots of 10ft. sticks of 1/2" conduit.

What I'm really looking for is where I can find swivel/rotating hinges that are the right size for the 1/2". Should I be using Bimini style hardware or what?

I would also like to know, someone chime in here. I have heard the conduit can bend pretty easy, but since it's cheap you can replace sections without much cost. I haven't looked into other types of tubing but I remember someone talking about some square tubing that's alot stronger. Sorry I can't help.

if you are so concerned about sturdiness i would use copper it is easy to bend, and if you bend it right it will be strong that what a lot of guys use.

I just built a blind using 1/2 inch conduit. Looked great but once I applied the grass the weight made it cave in..I put tee connectors in the middle and ran an extra crossbar from that and it shored it up quite nice. Cant wait to give it a shot.

I've heard to strengthen the conduit use wooden dowel inserts. I also assumed that I'd have to add a middle support pole.
