Leaky
This is easy and tastes greatPlace fillets in tin foil. Season with garlic powder, season salt and pepper. Place a dab of butter on the fillets and a slice of onion on top of that. Wrap the fish and place on grill for 5-6 minutes, turn and cook for another 5 - 6. Windy City Walleye Hunter
Hey Fly,This came from our Guide on Cass Lake and it is a winner. When you fillet your walleye, LEAVE THE SKIN ON.Then marinate the fillets in some Italian dressing for at least 20 minutes. Get the BBQ grill smokin hot and put the fillets on the grill SKIN SIDE DOWN. The Italian dressing should keep the fillets from sticking too much and here is the secret. DO NOT TURN THE FILLETS OVER. Cook them until they are white and never let the meat touch the grill. You may have to peel them off the grill if they stick a little and serve them with the skin on. You can easily eat the meat off the skin with a fork and knife. We have tried this at least once each year and our family loves it, really is a change from the beer batter or baking walleye.Enjoy, Windy!
