870 super mag

I was at wal-mart and they had these on clearance for $220. I couldn't pass that up. I used to have an 870 express but sold it to buy a mossberg 835. I never had any trouble with that gun but I just couldn't hit as well it. The remingtons just fit me better I guess.

What Walmart are the clearances at?I own a 870 Express now and would like a super mag for that price!

I have an 870 Supermag and its been a great gun for me. One bad feature; if you try to eject the empty slowly so you can catch it, it will jamb the loaded shell going into the chamber. So eject that empty like you mean it and no problem. I've seen a couple of Mossberg 835's that shot themselves loose in a couple of seasons. I just don't like the design of the internals on them. Question: those Supermags that are on sale, are they wood stocks or composite stocks? I'm looking to pick up a composite stock one as a spare for when I have company while goose hunting. A guy can never have too many Remingtons.
