Reports from "upper jackfish" area???

Hey all-

This may be a shot in the dark - but was wondering if anyone has been up lately to what we call the "upper jackfish" area of the rainly lake chain. We go through Fort Francis - head West for about 10 to 15 miles then North for about 30 miles or so to Lake Despair - where we put our boats in. We then head up the lake - through the river system and then accross the lake again - and through the "rapids". We have been going up there for years and will go up again in September. I was just wondering what the water level is like, what the fishing has been like etc...

Any reports would be greatly appreciated!!
