anybody fish cats out thier i live in cannon caught one out thier once just wondern were i could try for em and what should i use for them out thier

I haven't fished it in years. But fishing above or below the Dam "be careful down there, rocks can be slippery" and near the Hwy56 bridge on the Cannon river itself. We used cut bait, such as sucker, bullheads, or sheepheads on a basic slip rig. Fishing at dusk and dawn or into the night produced the best for us.
