Phred52
For those of you with meat slicers, I'm considering buying an inexpensive model for occasional use. ANY tips, suggestions or past experiences?? WHAT should I look for? WHAT should I avoid??
0 Gissert
We have a plastic unit that we got as a wedding gift six years ago. I've seen them at Fleet Farm, but I cannont remember the brand name. They are fairly inexpensive. We use it three or four times per year, and suits our needs just fine. It works very well for what we use it for. When slicing meat for jerky, it helps to toss the meat in the freezer for 45 minutes or so to firm it up.
