SE MN stream conditions?

Has anyone seen any of the streams since the rain? Wondering how fast the streams are clearing. I know the smallest streams will be in decent shape for Thur, but I was wondering how some of the larger streams are doing. If anyone has any info, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mark, I've got a friend who lives on the MBWW. I'll post some info when I get a report from him later today. He received almost 4" of rain on Monday, and as of yesterday his stream was up 7" and the clarity was about 3cm. Fillmore county was also pounded both Sunday and Monday, along with Winona county on Monday. Some of the bigger waters might be nymphable by the end of the week/weekend. The NBWW might be fishable by October wink.gif .

If anyone has any stream reports, they'd be much appreciated! cool.gif

The MBWW has recovered rather quickly from Monday's rainfall. As of this Wednesday morning, the visibility had increased to 23cm, and the level dropped back down 7" after going up 8" total.

Thanks for the information. I thought things might drop rather quickly since everything was so dry. Unfortunately things are a zoo here at work so I won't be getting out today like I had hoped. One evening trip after work for smallmouth is all I've managed to muster in the last month. Oh well, just 2.5 weeks and I'll be off to Canada to fish for walleye's and smallmouth. I can't wait. It will be nice to relax and fish.

I am heading up to Fillmore County for a few days, and want to get out on the South Branch of the Root--what are stream conditions like up there now? It sounds like you've had a fair bit of rain the last few days, with more to come.
