jdbigeye
What is the best type of oil to use for deep frying fish in large amounts? I have a fish/turkey fryer and heard that the oil you choose is important. Any suggestions?

fish-n-geek
You could search for some older threads on this, too. The reason a lot of people go with peanut oil is the high smoke/flash point. Regular veggie oil will smoke and eventually catch fire at lower temperatures.-r-
