What is a Drop Shot Rod? (Spinning)

What is the difference in action on a 7 foot medium action "Drop Shotting Rod"I have no clue and there is a nice one on clearance,

I dont know if it will be effective for walleye presentations like trolling spinners, lindys, jiggin.

Any one have one or know what these are? Like/dislike?

A drop shot rod has a light sensitive tip and heavy backbone. A rod was needed just for light weights(dropshot) with small plastic worms thus the light tip however these rods needed backbone. What manufactures came up with was a rod with both these characters.
