How to make cowbells

duck2

Recommended Posts

I have read about trolling small cowbells for inland stream trout in lakes. I have an idea what they might look like but would appreciate any suggestions on how to make a cowbell. Does anyone have a HSOforum they can point me to or have any direct experience in making and using these angling devices?

Thanks

Cowbells!?! I've got a fever...and the only prescription...is more cowbell.

On a serious note, I believe it's just a daisy chain of spinners, but I'm not totally sure. Do a google search for "trout cowbell" and I think you'll be surprised at what you find.

Good luck!

Look for the "Les Davis Cowbell" in stores, or on-line. I believe the Les Davis company is now owned by Luhr-Jensen. In fact, now that I checked, go to their HSOforum and you can order online for about $13 each. I see them in stores for about $8-10.
