I know a couple of you out there have these units. I have a question for you. When your using the split screen and a large fish or school of fish swim directly under your transducer, does your unit struggle with locating true bottom. My depth with keep shifting. It doesn't happen all the time and it's still fishable, but it's a little irritating. Anyone else??

If a school of fish under you makes your sounder think its marking bottom theres two things you can do. Turn the gain down. Manually select the depth scale.
