New LP tank

Hope this helps someone else some frustration. I bought a 10-pound LP tank and had it filled. None of my Mr. Heaters worked on it. A bunch of hissing but wouldn't light. I was bumming out. I even took all the heaters a part to clean the orfice on each one. Still no go. Finally got my Mr Heater Jr working some. Problem was, the tank had some air in it. Heaters work great now.

LP gas at Little Bighorn in Coon Rapids was $6 for 10-pounder and $9.50 for a 20-pounder

Who ever filled it is supposed to purge the air and water from it when its filled for the first time.

He did ask if it was new and I saw him do what looked to be "purging" (a little screw on the side of the valve). I didn't think anything about air in the tank till a couple days of goofing around.
