evinrude 25hp

a friend of mind has a 25hp evinrude, that started whinning last year. took it apart this year and found out the bearing in the lower unit was bad. torn things up pretty bad. I used to have a number for an individual in central MN that sold, bought and repaired used motor. anyone know of anyboby who has a shop in the brainerd, graND rapids, bemidji area. or perhaps somewhere in the twin ports area. he needs the lower unit from the shifting area down.

There are the same 2 everybody goes around here (MPLS) and they are twin City Outboards and Boat Motor Recyclers.

Which year is the motor ?

There's a guy in Hackensack that my cousin goes through, I guess he has a ton of small outboards and parts. My cousin actually needed the same thing as you do, and he got the parts from this guy for a very reasonable price. I have the number somewhere, I just can't locate it right now, so I'll keep looking and get back to ya. I am sure he has what your looking for.
