I'm interested in buying a new Honda 2hp outboard. Does anyone have any experience with this motor? Any comments, suggestions, or recommendations would be appreciated.
I own a 2000 model, 2hp Johnson purchased new in 2001. It runs fairly reliably but sometimes you have to baby it. Since I use this type of outboard just a few times each year, and often just before the lakes freeze up, I need it to be very reliable. So the second part to my question, is "Is upgrading to a Honda a worthwhile investment?"
