riverrat56 Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 To tell the truth it really does matter, spring and winter bullheads are much much better than summer and fall, something to to do with diet. Assuming you know how to clean them, they have a very red meat, my grandma always used to just bread them and fry them, they you just peel off the meat and eat it. Lunker Posted June 8, 2005 Share Posted June 8, 2005 Whenever I catch bullheads up at my cabin(not often) I eat them. I don't eat them out of the metro lakes. They are very good. Reddish meat.
